How to Convert a WEBP Image to Anything without Any Converter
There's a new graphic format called WEBP. I just found out when I tried to save a picture from the Google Play,
It says it's in Webp format. What is it? Well, Wikipedia has an article about it.
Now, I want to edit this picture in Paint.NET but the Webp filetype plugin seems not working with my portable Paint.NET. So...?
Well, we can always do it the old fashioned way... Yes, the copy and paste trick:
1. Right click the image in your browser and then click "Copy image",
2. Open your favorite graphics editor—in my case Paint.NET portable (you can get one here)—and from the Edit menu click "Paste into New Image,"
3. There you are...,
4. Now you can save it to any format you like,
That's it!
From this experience I learn that when running into a new situation, it's best to think it simple! :)[]
